2. Wash your clothes
If you have not had enough time to do your laundry on the previous days, a Sunday afternoon is a good time to do so. However, you need to pay attention to the volume of the washing machine. Older models, in particular, sometimes develop a huge noise level. The machines that are too noisy must be switched off on the rest day, as they can disturb the tranquillity of the surrounding neighbors.

If this rule is not respected, there is a threat of warning from the owner, and after repeated peace disturbances, a termination without notice may occur.
Passing the vacuum cleaner is similar to doing the laundry. Indeed, the noise of “dust removers” is now rarely exceeding the permitted volume of rooms by 30 to 40 dB and therefore does not excessively disturb neighbours – at least in the legal sense of the term. Only the balcony and terrace should be cleaned of dirt with a broom, as vacuuming outside is prohibited by law on public holidays and Sundays.
Of course, the safest thing to do is to use the remaining six days of the week for your household chores. After all, you should relax on Sundays. In case of doubt, you should always consult your owner’s internal rules to find out what you are allowed or prohibited from doing in your apartment.
