Do not put too much detergent
Very often, we abuse a little detergent for washing machines, believing that in this way we will wash the laundry better or smell more.
Oh, I forgot. If you like these natural tips, I can send them to you every day directly on WHATSAPP. Subscribe to my channel. I'm waiting for you.
Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, if we put too much detergent in the drawer of the washing machine, our laundry will really pude. And you notice it when you take them out of the washing machine and they already have the classic smell of being closed when they're still dying, especially black clothes or sportswear.
Despite spin-drying and rinsing, traces of detergent remain, which are often also causing bad odours in the washing machine. In addition, there may be the possibility of feeling an almost “fossing” fiber to the touch, not completely rinsed.
We recommend that you always use an environmentally friendly detergent, but the important thing is not to put too much detergent. Follow the instructions to enter the correct amount with each wash.

No to short washes
A very useful trick to make your lantern odour after washing is to behed in a washing machine is to avoid short washing, where this is of course possible.

Short washing does not always promote optimal washing, so the fibers are not “defatted” and washed completely and they are more likely to feel, even after washing them.
Choosing the right temperature
Maintaining lower temperatures does not always make our linen more perfumed. In fact, it is sometimes exactly the opposite.
Of course, underwear or disinfecting clothing should be washed at high temperatures to remove any trace of dirt or bacteria.
We always read washing labels. If we keep it at an average temperature of 40 degrees, we will help our laundry to be clean and perfumed. The situation might be different for towels, here are some useful tips:
Deploy them right away
Let us not forget that in order not to have stinking clothes (even after washing them at 90 degrees), they must be immediately removed from the drum of the washing machine and hanging in the open air.

This little trick also allows us to hang on in rags so we don't go back. If they remain in the drum for too long, the moisture favored by washing inevitably remains between the fibers, generating this unbearable odor.
Let's let our clothes airy. And let them be completely dry, before putting them in the closet, if not a lot of wasted efforts.
Use sodium bicarbonate
To remove bad odours from laundry, we cannot fail to use a little sodium bicarbonate at each wash. Sodium bicarbonate is an inexpensive and useful product for solving small domestic problems.

Half a cup is sufficient each time it is washed. It has anti-odor properties, helps to remove laundry stains and promotes its natural whiteness.
Clean the washing machine
Maybe we've been careful, we've followed this advice to the letter, but the laundry still smells bad. When this happens, it is the fault of the washing machine. For example, here are some very useful vacuum washings for this purpose:
You will have guessed it, so it must be cleaned, to get rid of limestone and dirt and detergent residue. Periodically, do a high-temperature empty wash to give the washing machine a new appearance.
But how do we do it with home-made and natural methods? Citric acid certainly gives us a helping hand.
This citrus compound has anticalcareous properties, detergents and rinsing products, which are also useful in dishwashers.
Dissolve 150 gr in 1 litre of hot water. Then pour it into the drum of the washing machine. You can also pour the liquid over a towel and wash to prolong the action.
Alternatively, you can also use vinegar (1 litre). You can choose white or apple cider vinegar, which is more delicate.
Vinegar and citric acid also have softening properties. You can use them for laundry while saving money and avoiding chemical detergents, but above all you will no longer wonder why dark clothes can smear after the washing machine.
Why does the laundry smell bad in the washing machine?
Laundry smells bad in the washing machine for several reasons, but mainly because mistakes are made during washing, putting too much detergent or filling the drum too much.
How to get perfumed laundry?
Try to put a small cup of vinegar in place of the softener every time you wash. The vinegar softens the laundry and scent naturally.
Why do clothes smell bad when they dry?
If clothes smell bad when drying, this is very often due to a washing error: too much detergent or too low temperatures.
