I learned this old recipe in an Italian village. Its taste will surprise you from the first second.

For the dish (example: rustic focaccia with Italian herbs):
750 ml all-purpose flour
1 sachet (2.5 teaspoon) of active dry yeast
1 t i.e. coffee sugar
250 ml warm water (approximately 45oC)
60 ml olive oil (more for watering)
1 tbsp. salt coffee
2 to 3 chopped garlic cloves (optional, for more flavour)
1 tbsp. fresh minced (or dried) rosemary
Large sea salt (for sprinkling)
