Geraniums often decorate interiors, but not everyone knows how to effectively propagate this plant through cuttings without damaging it and donating several healthy shoots.

When the geraniums bloom, all floral elements should be removed before starting the procedure. Geraniums are made of stems, leaves and flowers, the last of which we have already cut.
Then you must cut the stem thoroughly so that there are still three to five dormant buds on it. A bud can be defined as a small thickening near the leaf. Measure the required number of buds and make an inclined cut. Remove the bottom leaves from the cut cut and cut the tops in half to reduce moisture loss.

The next step is to place the cuttings in a solution of a root-forming stimulator (e.g. “Kornenvin”) for one hour.
