Gratin of golden cheese cauliflower

Prepare the gratin appliance
In a large bowl, break the eggs, add the fresh cream, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Walk the whole thoroughly until a homogeneous preparation is obtained.

Preheat the oven
Turn on your oven at 200oC (rotating heat if possible).

Assemble the gratin
Lightly oil a baking dish (wooden or ceramic flat type). Place the cauliflower florets regularly in the background. Pour the egg and cream preparation over it.

Add the cheese
Sprinkle the entire surface with the grated cheese with a strong emphasis on the outdoor areas to gratify.

Cooking
Bake for 25 minutes at 200oC until the top is golden and the gratin boils slightly on the edges.

Finishing
At the exit of the oven, let it warm for 5 minutes. Decorate a few fresh coriander leaves just before serving for a scented green touch.

🌟Tips and advice
Cooking cauliflower: Do not cook it too long in water to prevent it from getting out of the gratin.

Gourmet variant: You can add a few small pieces of white ham or bacon to enrich your gratin.

For a lighter gratin: Replace the cream with white cheese or a vegetable cream.

This gratin can be stored for 3 days in a refrigerator in a sealed dish.

Heat it to 160oC for 10 minutes or in the microwave at medium power
