Where do the white traces sometimes found on women's underwear come from?

We all noticed these whitish marks one day on our panties. First of all, we think of a badly rinsed laundry, too limestone water, or worse... hygiene concern. What if, on the contrary, it was a sign that everything is going well underneath? This common phenomenon, which is often poorly understood, may well reveal excellent vaginal health. Here's why.

A natural phenomenon, a sign of a shaped vagina

The vagina is a small defense plant: it self-cleans itself naturally with beneficial bacteria called lactobacilli. These allies create a slightly acidic environment (with a pH between 3.8 and 4.5), which prevents harmful microbes from growing.

But then, where do these famous spots come from?

In fact, acidic secretions from the vagina, while remaining in prolonged contact with the tissue of your underwear, can cause discolorations similar to traces of bleach. A benign chemical reaction, but revealing a good intimate balance.
