Three Hidden Functions of Your Car Keys

To do this, simply press the unlock button twice in succession, or in some models, press both the unlock and lock buttons simultaneously.
This feature is particularly useful for people who often travel alone, as it provides quick and safe access to the car without exposing the other doors.
Another handy feature, particularly useful on hot summer days, is the ability to lower all the windows simultaneously. To do this, press and hold the unlock button for a few seconds. This allows you to air out your vehicle before getting in.
Similarly, to roll up the windows, simply press and hold the lock button for a few seconds. This feature is very convenient if you forget to close the windows after leaving the car.
The third feature is for convertible car owners. Many car keys allow you to open and close the roof remotely.
This works the same way as raising and lowering the windows—simply hold down the unlock or lock button.
