Ingredients:
– 1/2 stick butter
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 cup buttermilk
– 1 can apple pie filling (21 oz) or diced fresh apples, cooked

Instructions:

 

Slices of butter in a baking dish.
1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Dish: Heat oven to 350°F. Get a baking glass dish and slice about 1/2 stick of butter in the bottom of the dish.

 

 

 

Flour, sugar, and buttermilk mixed together.
2. Mix Batter: Mix flour, sugar, and buttermilk.

 

 

 

Flour mixture poured into baking dish.
3. Pour Batter and Add Fruit: Pour batter into the dish with butter. Spoon fruit over the batter. You can add cinnamon to the fruit if you like.
