The drawer of the washing machine is a great mystery to many.
Or rather, you experience it a little bit like when you add a detergent (whether liquid or powder) and a softener (if you use it), but without knowing the real logic and, above all, the real function of the third chamber.
Before revealing what it really is for (this was explained to me by a technician during the repair), let us sum up the general maintenance of the aircraft.
Make sure you disinfect it well at least once a month to avoid the formation of limestone and mould and to rid it of the dirt that remains along the pipes.
To do this, it is sufficient to start empty and add a glass of white vinegar or a tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate or a mixture of the two in a basket or tray.
Always adjust the temperature to a fairly high temperature above 60 degrees Celsius, and you will be sure to disinfect it thoroughly. Also wipe the drawer separators and the window with vinegar. In this way, your laundry will be impeccable. But there’s more to be done for whites.
Thing? Use the third compartment.
