Spray the stainless steel with the solution. Don’t spray too much. You don’t want your cleaner running down the surface because that could stain and leave water marks behind. Wipe with a damp microfiber towel. Make sure to wipe with the grain and not against it. This means following the direction of the visible lines you can see on the surface.

Get a clean and dry microfiber towel and use it to buff the surface. This step will not only dry the surface but also remove streaks and anything left behind on the surface.

Keep in mind that many store-bought cleaners are oil-based or contain oil. He says they’re okay to use but using a ton of it can make the surface sticky and attract more dirt over time. Make sure to wipe it with a clean dry microfiber cloth after.

Avoid using olive oil or baby oil. They will make your stainless steel nice and shiny, but they will leave a sticky residue and create a buildup on the surface. You should also avoid steel wool, green and yellow scrubbers, and bleach.
