Easily remove sweat stains with a DIY method.
In summer it is almost impossible not to sweat. When temperatures rise dramatically, in fact, our body reacts by trying to maintain a constant body temperature and cool it down.
It is therefore a natural process of our body that reacts to heat by producing this colorless liquid (especially on the forehead and armpits) and composed of mineral salts in different concentrations: such as potassium, sodium, chlorine and magnesium.
Sweat can sometimes become an annoying and unsightly problem. In fact, on white garments (such as t-shirts and shirts), sweat, once dried, can leave visible yellowish stains that do not go away with normal washing in the washing machine.
But there is no need to rush to buy expensive, aggressive stain removers: the problem of sweat stains on clothes can be solved with simple natural ingredients.
How to Remove Old Sweat Stain Halos
Bicarbonate
One of the most used natural ingredients in eco-cleaning is bicarbonate, known above all for its whitening and deodorizing properties. In the case of old sweat stains, you can use it by mixing it with water so that it forms a thick paste. This should then be rubbed on the stains, perhaps helping yourself with a brush. Then leave it to act for 10 minutes and proceed to wash as you normally would.
Lemon
This very fragrant citrus fruit is widely used in cleaning and laundry, as in addition to being effective on some types of stains, it also releases a pleasant fresh smell. It can be used either diluted with water (in cases where you want to soak) or together with baking soda for more stubborn stains.
Dish detergent
A strong degreaser, dish detergent is often useful for laundry too. It is also a very quick but equally effective remedy: just pour a few drops on the stains and rub gently with your fingers. Then all you have to do is put the affected items in the washing machine and continue as you would with normal laundry.
