Summer Apricot Tart: A Fruity and Sunny Delight

1. Prepare the pastry:
– Preheat your oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
– Spread the shortcrust pastry in a tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.

2. Prepare the apricots:
– Wash the apricots, cut them in half, and remove the pits.
– Arrange the apricots on the shortcrust pastry, cut-side up.

3. Sugar and flour mixture:
– In a bowl, mix the sugar and flour.
– Sprinkle this mixture over the apricots to lightly sweeten them.

4. Bake:
– Sprinkle the tart with brown sugar for a nice caramelization.
– Bake for about 30 minutes, until the apricots are tender and the pastry is golden.
