At Trooping the Colour 2025, Princess Charlotte Pays Tribute to the Queen
Princess Charlotte, 10, captured attention at this year’s Trooping the Colour when she wore a light teal dress and a diamond horseshoe brooch, originally gifted to her by her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
The brooch, with deep family history, was previously worn by Charlotte at the Queen’s funeral in 2022. It’s thought to have first belonged to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and was later passed down through generations.
The brooch is a symbolic nod to the Queen’s well-known love of horses.
Charlotte matched her mother, the Princess of Wales, who wore a hat by Juliette Botterill and a blue coat dress by Catherine Walker. Additionally, Kate honored the late Queen by wearing her Irish Guards regimental brooch and Bahrain Pearl Drop earrings, a wedding gift to Elizabeth II in 1947.
