“Everyone cleaned out their closets and accomplished everything they had planned to do. For me, making an album was similar to that,” he remarked. “I had no plans to create an album. So I ended up with ten songs and thought, ‘What should I do with them?’ I had no clue I was in the process of making an album, so I just recorded ten tracks.

Concerning the title of the album, McCartney shared with Elba that calling it McCartney III felt like a natural decision, considering the solo aspect of the project and its connection to his earlier solo works, McCartney I and McCartney II. “I realized, since I played ‘McCartney I’ and ‘McCartney II’ myself, that I had done them in the same style, so this would be ‘McCartney III.’ So then I thought, ‘Okay, now I know what I’m doing.’”

Regardless of his age, McCartney continues to approach life with enthusiasm and creativity. His openness to experimenting with his look, his commitment to his music, and his capacity to evolve with the times demonstrate that his spirit is as lively as ever.

Whether he’s soaking up the sun on a holiday in the Caribbean or delighting fans with a fresh hairstyle, McCartney stands as a lasting emblem of timeless rock ‘n’ roll energy!
