There are a few places for President Donald Trump to hide if nuclear war was to break out
As fears mount for many that World War III could soon be on the horizon, we look at where exactly President Donald Trump could hide out if nuclear war ever did break out.
The 79-year-old ordered a US attack on Iran’s nuclear sites last week and in response, Iran’s foreign minister threatened that ‘everlasting consequences’ will come to America.
The strikes appeared to anger Russian President Vladimir Putin, who told some of his top generals that Trump’s actions ‘brings the world to a very dangerous line’, while in a meeting on Monday (June 23).
That’s in spite of Russia having invaded Ukraine back in February 2022, with the war that ensued between the two neighbors still going today.
Of course, then you also have Trump starting a trade war with both Canada, Mexico and China – with the latter being much more intimidating due to the size of its army and the ongoing tensions.
In total, there are nine countries with a nuclear arsenal. They are: Russia, the US, China, France, the UK, Pakistan, India, Israel and North Korea.
Each nation will claim that they possess nuclear weapons as a deterrent, but it just takes one crazed world leader to hit the red button and chaos would erupt across the globe.
If that was to happen, there are places that the POTUS could scurry to. The first of which is underneath the White House – a fortress built back in the 1950s during the Cold War.
The next can be found in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Incredibly, the complex is a self-contained city-like structure with buildings, a fire department, a police department, medical facilities, and dining halls, all built within the hollowed-out mountain.
