We will really be surprised what kind of visits we can have if we do nothing about it, let’s see below in detail:

1. Snakes

As for snakes, it’s not to be afraid but to be careful. The truth is that they like damp and dark places, so pipes are a favorable place for them.

Generally, their favorite access is the sewer because there are leftovers of food to feed on, but when they finish there they go to look for a way out. The thing is, pipes are the fastest route and can end up in the bathroom.

However, to note about snakes scurrying through pipes, they are usually from warm countries. In addition, they are thinner than poisonous ones and can easily pass through pipes.

2. Rats

As we well know, rats are also in constant search for food and the pipes are easily accessible. In addition, in the bathroom it is located in the toilet and the trash can, so it is very attractive for rats to enter there.

On the other hand, since their anatomy is thin and flexible, they can swim through the pipe. For this reason, food scraps should not be disposed of in a garbage bag, nor should they be flushed down the toilet.

In other words, if we don’t give rats reasons, they won’t get into the sewer. Another timely recommendation, you should always keep the toilet lid closed

3. Spiders

Obviously, in the case of spiders, they cannot swim through the pipes but they can appear in the bathroom through other accesses.

The most fearful thing is that they may settle outside the toilet, only black widows crawl inside and spin their web if we don’t discover them first. Of course, this can only happen in an outdoor bathroom that doesn’t have plumbing.

It all depends on where we live, however a good recommendation for any place where we are is to always check before sitting on the toilet.

Keep in mind that spiders enter the home through any opening or crack, so you have to keep this advice in mind.

4. Lizards

In the case of lizards that enter through pipes they are quite common, the reason is that these creatures love water and look for food. In fact, crickets and other insects can often be found in the pipes of your toilet, if it is not as clean as it should be.
