    • 200 ml of water
    • 50 grams of brown sugar
    • 1 gram of brewer’s yeast
      • An empty 2-liter soda bottle
      • Knife or scissors

    1. Preparation:
        • Cut the soda bottle in half just above the middle to prepare for the trapping solution.
        • Boil the water and dissolve the sugar in it. Once dissolved, allow the syrup to cool below 30°C. You can speed up cooling by placing it in the fridge.
        • Pour the cooled syrup into the lower half of the bottle and add the brewer’s yeast without stirring.

      • Invert the top half of the bottle and insert it into the bottom half. Secure it with tape.
    2. Placement and Maintenance:
        • Place the trap in areas where mosquitoes are prevalent.

      • For broader coverage, set up multiple traps around your home.
      • Refresh the syrup every two weeks, or when bubbles no longer form, indicating the end of fermentation.

This natural trap is not only effective but also environmentally friendly, offering a non-invasive way to manage mosquitoes. Try it and enjoy your summer nights without interruptions.
