Pete Davidson recently shocked audiences by sharing details about his difficult relationship with his maternal grandfather, who is now fighting lung cancer. Known for his frank comedy, Davidson spoke about how his grandfather was abusive during his childhood.
He said he is closer to his father’s father and doesn’t have a good relationship with his mom’s dad. “He used to beat me,” Davidson said. He described his grandfather as a very traditional Irish man with a tough exterior.
