Hole in the bottom of the refrigerator: what it is and how to clean it perfectly

In the case of the refrigerator, in fact, each of its components must be cleaned periodically : shelves, walls, etc.
However, there is perhaps a small detail that many people miss: have you ever noticed that little hole located on the lower wall, usually above the vegetable drawer?
This is a component that performs an essential function : it serves to drain any condensation that may form on the walls. However, its frequent contact with water can cause the development of mold and bacteria if not cleaned properly .
So let’s see how to do it.
- First, empty the refrigerator and clean the shelves and walls.
- Now take out the vegetable drawer and dry any water you find at the bottom.
- Wet a cotton swab with white vinegar and clean thoroughly around and inside the hole, being careful not to get it stuck.
- Do this on a regular basis.
