Why Vinegar Should Be Your Go-To Laundry Helper

Vinegar is excellent at fighting odors in gym clothes, towels, and pet bedding. For strong smells, soak items in a vinegar-water solution for 30 minutes before washing. This refreshes fabrics naturally.

It also helps reduce lint and static cling when added during rinsing, especially with towels and synthetic fabrics. In hard water areas, vinegar dissolves mineral buildup that dulls and stiffens laundry, keeping fabrics soft and bright.

You can also use vinegar in the dryer by applying some to a cloth or dryer ball to reduce wrinkles and soften clothes. Never mix vinegar with bleach, and avoid using it on delicate fabrics like silk or wool. Use about one cup per load to prevent strong vinegar odors.

Vinegar is a simple, eco-friendly way to make your laundry softer, whiter, and fresher without harsh chemicals.
