Silver items are among the most precious things we keep in our homes: whether rings, bracelets, necklaces, but also cutlery or other decorative items, they almost always have both emotional and economic value.
However, silver has one drawback: Over time , it tends to turn black and lose its natural shine. This is a completely natural phenomenon and, fortunately, solvable.
When exposed to hydrogen sulfide in the air, this metal takes on a dark, opaque color. The resulting chemical reaction affects the surface layer of the object and can therefore be restored.

Not only is it useful for keeping the mouth free from cavities, but it can also be used to restore tarnished silver.
Wash silver items with soap and water, then apply a layer of toothpaste to the surface for 5 minutes. Finally, rinse with cold water and dry thoroughly with absorbent paper.
