Clean the detergent drawer
This cleaning is required at least once a week to remove excess detergent that could later smelly and become musty. Note the self-cleaning function: Many devices have this option to eliminate accumulated bacteria and clean the drum at a temperature of 70 °C. However, it does not always provide the expected result.
Leave the door open after the rinse
Golden rule: Always remember to leave the door of the washing machine open after washing your laundry to vent the drum properly. If you keep it closed, no air penetrates and it forms due to the excess moisture inside bacteria.
Wipe the door seal after each wash
Speaking of moisture: Be sure to dry the rubber door seal thoroughly. After each washing, use a clean cloth. If you fail to do this, water in the seal can quickly lead to evil odors.
