Place the milk, cream, sugar, vanilla sugar, and semolina in a saucepan, stir, and bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, for about 7 minutes. Stir the butter into the semolina porridge while it is still hot.
Remove the pan from the heat and let the semolina porridge soak briefly in the pan. Pour into plates and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar to taste.
