Ingredients:
Essential oils (peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus, or tea tree oil)
Baking soda
Diatomaceous earth
White vinegar
Lemon juice
Citrus peels (such as orange or lemon)
Boric acid (for cockroaches and ants)
Sticky traps or flypaper
Herbal repellents (bay leaves, cloves, or cinnamon sticks)
Salt or sugar
Soap or dishwashing liquid (for fruit flies)
A vacuum cleaner (for bedbugs)
Rubbing alcohol (for disinfection)
Instructions:
For Bedbugs:
Vacuum the infested areas: Start by vacuuming your bed, mattress, and other furniture, focusing on seams and crevices where bedbugs hide.
Use rubbing alcohol: Spray rubbing alcohol on affected areas to kill bugs instantly.
Wash and dry bedding: Wash sheets, pillowcases, and other fabrics in hot water, and then dry them on the highest heat setting.
For Cockroaches:
Boric acid method: Sprinkle boric acid along cracks, under sinks, and in corners where cockroaches are likely to hide.
Citrus repellent: Create a citrus solution by mixing lemon juice and water. Spray this mixture around areas with cockroach activity.
Diatomaceous earth: Sprinkle this powder in areas where cockroaches are frequently seen. It is non-toxic but lethal to insects.
For Fruit Flies:
Vinegar trap: Fill a small bowl with apple cider vinegar and add a few drops of dish soap. The soap breaks the surface tension, trapping fruit flies.
Sticky traps: Place sticky flypaper or traps in areas where you see fruit flies hovering.
Citrus peels: Place lemon or orange peels near the fly-infested spots. Fruit flies are repelled by citrus scents.
For Other Insects (Ants, Spiders, and More):
Cinnamon and cloves: Place cinnamon sticks or cloves around doorways, windowsills, and areas where insects are entering. Many insects dislike the strong scent.
Herbal repellents: Use bay leaves, eucalyptus, or lavender to deter insects from infesting your kitchen and pantry.
Diatomaceous earth for ants: This method is also effective for ants, as it cuts through their exoskeletons and dehydrates them.
