A resurfaced video of the late Robin Williams delivering a sharp and humorous critique of Donald Trump during a 2012 stand-up show is once again making the rounds online, and many fans are calling it “strangely accurate” and even “prophetic.” Williams, a beloved actor and comedian known for iconic performances in *Good Will Hunting*, *Mrs. Doubtfire*, and *Aladdin*, left an enduring mark on both comedy and cinema before his tragic passing in 2014 at the age of 63.
Beginning his career in stand-up comedy in the 1970s, Williams was known for his quick wit, energetic delivery, and fearless social commentary—traits on full display in the now-viral clip.
In it, he humorously recounted a chaotic visit to Atlantic City, describing the scene as resembling “The Wizard of Oz on acid,” before likening Trump to the wizard himself, saying, “Donald Trump is the Wizard of Oz. He plays Monopoly with real f**king buildings. This is a scary man.” At the time, Trump was best known for his business ventures and failed casino empire in Atlantic City, including Trump Plaza and the Trump Taj Mahal.
