Let it sit for 2–3 minutes.
Step 3: Sprinkle Baking Soda
Sprinkle baking soda generously over the stained areas. Baking soda is mildly abrasive but gentle enough for glass, making it ideal for lifting tough residues.
Step 4: Lay a Hot Towel Over It
Soak a towel or several paper towels in hot water, wring it out, and place it directly on top of the baking soda-covered surface.
Leave it for 15 minutes. The heat helps activate the cleaning action and softens baked-on gunk.
Step 5: Gently Scrub
Use a non-abrasive scrub pad or sponge to work in circular motions. The combination of baking soda and heat will lift away most stains easily. Avoid steel wool or rough pads—they can scratch the glass.
Step 6: Use a Razor Blade (If Needed)
For stuck-on food or burnt marks, hold a razor blade scraper at a 45-degree angle and carefully scrape off the residue. Only use this on flat glass surfaces, and never dig too deep or scrape in one spot for too long.
Wipe away debris as you go.
Step 7: Final Rinse and Polish
Spray a little more vinegar or clean water, and wipe the whole surface with a microfiber cloth or soft towel until it’s streak-free and shiny.
