- In the pan, add the sugar and water, cook over medium heat until they turn into caramel, and cover the apples with the prepared caramel.
- In another skillet, cook the butter for 6 minutes over medium heat, mix with the honey, buttermilk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract, sift in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and add the salt. Pour over the apples and caramel.
- Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 1 hour. Let cool for 15 minutes and serve.
