Medium Rare Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yields: About 2 dozen cookies Prep time: 15 minutes Chill time: 30 minutes to 24 hours (highly recommended) Bake time: 9-11 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks or 226g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
- ¾ cup (165g) packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ¼ cups (270g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups (255g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (or a mix of chips and chunks)
