Instructions: In a saucepan, whisk pineapple juice, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, and soy sauce. Bring to a gentle boil. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce until thick and glossy. Cool before storing.
Sweet and Spicy Orange Sauce
1/2 cup orange juice 1 tablespoon orange zest 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1/4 cup honey or sugar 2 tablespoons vinegar 1-2 teaspoons chili flakes or sriracha 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 teaspoon fresh ginger 1 tablespoon cornstarch 2 tablespoons water
Instructions: Sauté garlic and ginger in a splash of oil. Add all other ingredients except slurry. Bring to a simmer. Mix and stir in the cornstarch slurry. Cook until thick and glossy. Cool before storing.
