Pay attention to the fast program of your washing machine.
This is perhaps the worst part of the washing machine. I know what I’m talking about because I’ve been deceived for a long time. It must be said that it is very tempting to use it when you are in a hurry … But it is a really bad idea.
This is what Didier, a friend who works at Darty, explained. Since then, I have avoided using this programme at all costs. Here are 4 reasons why you shouldn’t use this fast program.
1. A programme
The duration of each cycle differs: 90 min, 60 min, 30 min … We tend to choose the shortest program to save time and money. But note this: this program is a fake friend. Of course, it’s fast … But it also has a lot of drawbacks. And one of his problems, and not least, is that he is not economic at all.
I can explain… In 30 minutes, this program washed, rinsed and pulled out the laundry. To do this, the washing machine must heat the water very quickly. And that takes a lot of energy at the same time. Electricity consumption is therefore high. So it costs a lot of electricity.
2. A programme not very effective against spots Un
Another problem is that this program is not super effective against dirt. More precisely, it does not allow deep cleaning of the inlaid spots. Why? Because the temperature of this 30-minute program is not very high. In general, this short cycle has a temperature of 30 to 40 degrees Celsius. Thus, some stains do not leave and the laundry is not disinfected.
Not great for baby clothes, sheets, towels and really dirty clothes in general. It is therefore preferable to reserve it with slightly dirty laundry or washing of synthetic or cotton clothing.
3. 3. 3. 3. A small amount of washed laundry each time
When using this 30-minute programme, it is advisable not to overfill the machine. The programme uses less water than a traditional programme. If you put too much dirty clothes in the machine, they will not be washed properly. But the worst thing is that they will not be rinsed properly either.
Not only do the stains not disappear, but the laundry residues attach to the fibers. The laundry becomes rough and grayish … And that’s not all. Because it can promote allergies, especially in people with fragile and sensitive skin or in babies.
4. A programme that is not suitable for laundry
It might be thought that this short programme would be suitable for a delicate lantern. Anyway, that’s what I thought. But this is not the case with my Whirlpool washing machine. Silk, wool, lace underwear… You need a soft program adapted to these fragile fabrics … This is not the case for our 30-minute program.
