Identifying the cause of odour
Towels often smell of mould when they remain moist for too long. This may be due to insufficient drying after use, storage in a poorly ventilated place or unsuitable wash.
Wash towels correctly
To avoid unpleasant odours, it is essential to wash the towels at the right temperature. A cycle at 40 C with a wiping at 800 revolutions/minute is recommended for preserving the fibers while ensuring effective cleaning. If the towels are very dirty, washing at 60oC may be considered after checking the label.
