Blood sugar indicates blood glucose levels. The body uses this type of sugar as the main source of energy. Glucose is delivered to the body along with food and then distributed throughout the body.

Hyperglycemia, or high blood sugar, is a condition in which the body is unable to process sugar. If this condition does not improve over time, permanent damage to various parts of the body, including kidneys, blood vessels, nerves and eyes, may occur.

Diabetes is caused by several factors:

Excessive treatment of hypoglycaemia episode
By skipping or taking the wrong dose of the drug for diabetes
Insufficient physical activity

Colds and other diseases
Dehydration
Overeating and snacking before meals
Steroids and Other Medications

Children and adults are occasionally more likely to develop high blood sugar levels.
